After retiring from professional football, Perkins returned to Granbury.  He was the voice of the Granbury Pirates for ten years on the local cable channel.

The game between the Granbury Pirates and the Saginaw Rough Riders will begin at 7:30 P.M.  The football field is located directly behind Granbury High School at 2000 W. Pearl Street.
