Designed to familiarize incoming debaters with the program. Anyone interested is welcome.
The Pirate Debate Team will have orientation on Monday,
August 9, beginning at 5:30 p.m.Orientation will be held across the street from the high school at the
Church of Christ.Please enter through
the South doors.
Orientation is open to ALL STUDENTS entering grades 9-12 who
are interested in debate, public speaking, or interp events such as Duet Acting.It is not necessary to be enrolled in the
debate class to compete with the team.
A parent or guardian must attend with each student in order
to complete paperwork.There will also
be a special orientation session for parents at the beginning of the evening.
