 This will be my fifth year teaching at Emma, my fourth year teaching in first grade. I completed my student teaching at Emma Roberson in the Spring of 2008 in Kindergarten and First Grade. I graduated from Western Governors University in July 2008 with a teaching degree in elementary education. I have lived in Granbury my whole life. I actually went to Emma Roberson when I was a young girl and graduated from Granbury High School. I have two daughters - Cassidy age 13 who will be in the 8th grade at Acton Middle and Caitlyn age 10 who will be in the 5th grade at Brawner Intermediate. We have 2 dogs, Cinderella and Ginger, and a cat, Engine. Two years we hosted a foreign exchange student named Christin. She is 19 years old and was from Germany. She graduated Granbury High School in 2011. We miss her very much but we talk to her through email. We are very excited that she is visiting us this summer. I love to spend time with my family. I have always dreamed of teaching and teaching young children is my passion. I strongly believe that when teaching is made fun and exciting, everyone will learn.
