About Mrs. Ransleben
This will be my eighth year teaching at Emma, my seventh year teaching in first grade. I completed my student teaching at Emma Roberson in the spring of 2008 in Kindergarten and First Grade. I graduated from Western Governors University in July 2008 with a teaching degree in elementary education.
I have lived in Granbury my whole life. I actually went to Emma Roberson when I was a young girl and graduated from Granbury High School.
I am married to a wonderful man, Kurt. We were married on August 9th of 2013. My last name is a difficult German name to pronounce. Think of the name as having 3 syllables: "/ron/sleigh/ben". I do have to admit I love hearing others attempt to pronounce my last name - students and parents alike. They will get it with some time and practice.
We have two daughters - Cassidy, age 16 that is a Junior at Granbury High School and is a Varsity Cheerleader, and Caitlyn, age 13 who is in the 8th grade at Acton Middle School. We also have twin sons, Carson and Carter, that were born on September 13th. We have a dog named Ginger and a cat named Engine.
I love to spend time with my family. I have always dreamed of teaching and teaching young children is my passion. I strongly believe that when teaching is made fun and exciting, everyone will learn.
Thank you for getting to know about me and my family. I look forward to getting to know about you and your family.
