About Mrs. Ransleben
This will be my sixth year teaching at Emma, my fifth year teaching in first grade. I completed my student teaching at Emma Roberson in the spring of 2008 in Kindergarten and First Grade. I graduated from Western Governors University in July 2008 with a teaching degree in elementary education.
I have lived in Granbury my whole life. I actually went to Emma Roberson when I was a young girl and graduated from Granbury High School.
I am married to a wonderful man, Kurt. We got married on August 9th of this year. My new last name is a difficult German name to pronounce. Think of the name as having 3 syllables: "/ron/sleigh/ben". I do have to laugh when I think of how 1st grade students will say that - or even other teachers. They will get it with some time and practice.
I have two daughters - Cassidy age 14 that is a Freshman Cheerleader at Crossland Ninth Grade Center and Caitlyn age 11 who is in the 6th grade at Acton Middle School. We have 2 dogs, Cinderella and Ginger, and a cat, Engine.
I love to spend time with my family. I have always dreamed of teaching and teaching young children is my passion. I strongly believe that when teaching is made fun and exciting, everyone will learn.
Thank you for getting to know about me and my family. I look forward to getting to know about you and your family.
