Lissa Oliver, Oak Woods Librarian
I am proud to say I've been a Granbury Pirate my entire life. After being a student in GISD from kindergarten through 12th grade (I even attended Oak Woods when it was nearly brand new), I am excited to begin my eighth year as an educator and second year as the Oak Woods Librarian.
I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (HOOK 'EM!) in 2004 with a degree in Communication Studies. In December 2007 I finished my Master's in Education from the University of North Texas with school librarian certification.
I married my high school sweetheart, Casey, and we have three amazing daughters, Baylor (age 4), Larin (age 3), and Mailey James (age 2). We are members of StoneWater Church in Granbury where my husband works as the Operations Pastor. I love to read (of course), bake, and be with friends & family!
Please feel free to contact me at anytime. I know it's going to be a fun year in the Oak Woods Library!
