May 18, 2018 - Lauren Wilde, a freshman at Granbury High School, was the winner of a silver 2015 Nissan Sentra for a “perfect attendance” contest for the 2017-18 school year. The car was provided courtesy of Granbury Nissan, and the final event was held on May 18, 2018.
May 18, 2018 - The Granbury Chamber of Commerce presented a $5,000 contribution to the F1 in Schools teams from Granbury High School advancing to the national STEM challenge competition. A check was presented during the chamber’s monthly luncheon on May 18, 2018, at the Pecan Plantation clubhouse.
May 18, 2018 - Granbury High School senior Chance Worthington earned a $1,000 scholarship from Preserve Granbury for his development of a “Walking Tour of Granbury” app highlighting local history and sites. The classroom presentation was held on May 18, 2018, at GHS.
