Dear Students and Parents:

The Granbury High School 2013 Junior-Senior Prom will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 8 P.M.to 12 A.M. at the Arlington Convention Center. The junior class, officers, and sponsors are dedicating a great deal of time and energy planning this memorable event. We are confident that you will not be disappointed.  The evening will consist of a dance, a variety of refreshments, and recognition of prom royalty.

Tickets ($50 per person) will be sold during the period of March 4-8, 2013, and April 9-10, 2013 at 8:00-8:30 A.M., 3:15-4:00 P.M. and 4:15-4:45 P.M.  THERE WILL BE NO OTHER TIME FOR TICKETS TO BE SOLD, AND NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR THE NIGHT OF THE PROM. ALL TICKETS INCLUDE PROM AND REFRESHMENTS.  Parking will be in the parking lot behind the convention center.

Once tickets have been purchased, the money cannot be refunded since it will be used to pay for the prom.  Anyone who purchases tickets must present his or her school picture ID. A guest form must be approved IN ADVANCE OF TICKET PURCHASE for those who are not GHS students.  Guest forms should be turned into the front office or Mrs. Reid’s room (7-115).  All guests must be sophomores at Granbury High School or older but NOT 21 on or before the date of prom.  No guests aged 21 or older will be admitted.  Guests are expected to comply with the rules as stated in the Granbury High School Student Handbook as are all students who attend the prom.

Students who want to take someone to prom who is NOT a GHS student must get the proper guest information form (available in the front office, English classes, and in Mrs. Reid’s room 7-115), fill it out, and return it to either Mrs. Reid’s room (7-115) or the front office IN ADVANCE. All forms must be approved before tickets may be sold.

We hope this will be a wonderful experience for you.  Thank you for your help and support.  Please have a wonderful and safe prom!

Sincerely,

The Junior Class Officers and Sponsors
