Acton Middle School has been awarded "Exemplary" for 2011-2013 by the Texas Education Agency.  This is the highest rating a school can earn and has placed AMS in the top 7% of secondary schools in the state of Texas.   Congratulations students, staff, and AMS community for this honor.

AMS 2008-2009 Student Body Formation!

In 2008, AMS Student Council presented an idea to have a helicopter pilot come and take a picture of the entire AMS student body in an AMS formation on the football field.    That idea became a reality by the hard work and dedication of our Class of 2013.    What can you do today to make a difference and set yourself apart?   
 
  
 
Our 2011-2012 belief statement was generated by a collaboration of teachers and staff from AMS after attending the Capturing Kids Hearts training and Spencer Henry's Strategies for Effective Discipline.   All staff and students hear the belief statement daily.
