Baccus Counselor

Welcome! My name is Betty White and I am honored to serve as the counselor for Baccus Elementary School. The picture above shows me doing what I love best-interacting with kids. My puppets, Billy and Sally, often help me as I talk with students. I have been in Public Education for 32 years, 21 of those as a School Counselor. Here at Baccus, I work with all students on behavior, character education, study skills, and social, skills in the Library, using classroom guidance lessons to help them learn skills that will allow them to be more successful at school. In addition, with parent permission, I work with students individually and in small groups. I also help with Response to Intervention, TAKS testing, and students served through Section 504. I am committed to helping your child have a positive, successful school experience here at Baccus Elementary School.
