October 20, 2014 - JV Pirates won fourth place at the Southern Oaks Golf Classic in Burleson on Monday. Anson Wilson finished third individually with a score of 82. Other team members were Mike Wisely (84), Sam Sonderer (89), Nikolai Press (92), and Will Warner (94).
October 20, 2014 -Three JV Lady Pirates competed at Tuesday's Chick-Fil-A Invitational hosted by Mansfield Lake Ridge HS. Trisha Richards shot 105, while Reagan Wilkinson scored 112 and Rhegan Howard shot 120.
October 18, 2014 -GHS swimmers excelled at Saturday's Arlington Invitational at the Mansfield Natatorium. Several hit best season times and many posted lifetime bests, according to head coach Jason Pullano. Swimmers of the meet were Jaci Largent, Cole Rezsofi, Sarah Spradlin, and Luke Travis.
October 17-18, 2014 -Lady Pirates shot 364 on Saturday to finish fourth in the Glen Rose Invitational at Squaw Valley Golf Club. Tifton Puckett led the girls with 81; others were Molle-Jo Crain (94), Madeline Phillips (94), Alexis Gapinski (95), Skylar Woodward (99), and Laurel Burns (102).
October 17-18, 2014 - The Pirates shot 298 on the second day of the Glen Rose Invitational on Saturday at the Squaw Valley Golf Club. Brady Wright led the squad with 73 with Blake Brown and Zach Wall were close with 74 each. Others were Luke Elliott (77) and Harrison Knight (80). The boys finished with a two-day score of 605.
