February 25, 2015 - The Granbury Marine Corps JROTC precision teams competed in the JROTC Service Championships on February 19-21, 2015, in Anniston, Alabama. One squad received a bid to the national-level contest featuring the best JROTC units from all service branches.
February 20, 2015 - Theater arts students at Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center performed selected scenes from notable plays during Dessert Bar Theatre on February 19, 2015, at the Lakeside Baptist Church Ministry Center. The program also included performances from the Texas Thespian Festival competition as well as a preview of the upcoming One Act Play.
February 19, 2015 - Students in Granbury ISD are showing their college spirit throughout the school year. Each six weeks on the day that report cards are distributed, campuses are holding a College Spirit Day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear a shirt or jersey representing their favorite college or university.
February 18, 2015 - Granbury High school graduating seniors have an opportunity to apply for a variety of college scholarships offered by local businesses, service clubs, associations, and other organizations.
February 17, 2015 - Granbury High School will be hosting several baseball teams at a tourney sponsored by Classic Chevrolet. The three-day tournament will be on February 26-28, 2015.
February 17, 2015 - Granbury school bands and choirs are busy preparing for UIL concert and sightreading contests scheduled for March and April 2015. Preview performances for parents and the public are set prior to the competitions.
February 16, 2015 - Leta Andrews, retired coach of the Lady Pirate basketball team at Granbury High School, was named a finalist for induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The announcement was made during the NBA All-Star Weekend on February 14, 2015.
February 16, 2015 - Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center theater arts students will perform selected scenes from notable plays during a Dinner Theatre on Thursday, February 19, 2015, from 6:30-8:30 P.M. at the Lakeside Baptist Church Ministry Center.
February 16, 2015 - Granbury High School student Kiersten Mathis performed with All-State Mixed Choir to close the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) state conference at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio on February 14, 2015.
February 16, 2015 - Shiner Energy & Consulting Corp. donated $10,000 to the Granbury ISD Education Foundation for a scholarship in the name of Briggs Berry to be awarded this spring to a Granbury High School student athlete. The presentation was made on February 13, 2015, during the basketball game halftime.
February 13, 2015 - Government students from Granbury High School joined a large community group for “Hood County Day” at the Teas state capitol on February 11, 2015. The legislative day program was sponsored by the Granbury Chamber of Commerce.
February 10, 2015 - Granbury High School seniors Nikolai Press and Melaine Lively-Adams were honored as the Young Texan and the Young Tex-Anne for February 2015 by the Granbury Optimist Club. The two were recognized at the club breakfast on February 10, 2015.
February 9, 2015 - Kaylee Brawner, a sophomore at Granbury High School, is advancing to state for the second year in a row after winning gold at the Region II-5A Swimming & Diving Championship held February 6-7, 2015, at the Mansfield ISD Natatorium.

February 4, 2015 - Lydia Rife, a senior on the Granbury Lady Pirate soccer team, will be continuing her education and playing career at Southwestern Oklahoma State University following her graduation from Granbury High School in May 2015. The announcement was made on February 4, 2015, in the Pirate Pavilion.
