Relocating to Granbury
History: The Granbury area was settled in 1847 by pioneers who opened trading posts along the Brazos River. The community is named after Confederate General Hiram B. Granbury. With the formation of Lake Granbury, the construction of Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant and the accessibility to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Granbury has enjoyed economic growth while retaining small town flavor.
