The Marine Corps JROTC at Granbury High School will hold orientation on August 1-3, 2012, for all incoming freshmen who will be attending Crossland Ninth Grade Center.
The three-day orientation will provide students with information about the program for the upcoming school year. The program will begin promptly at 9:00 A.M. each day in the JROTC classroom at GHS. It will conclude at 1:00 P.M. daily.
Students should wear attire that is appropriate for physical training – shorts, t-shirts, and athletic shoes. A bottle of water is also recommended.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend a welcome aboard briefing on Wednesday, August 1 at 9:00 A.M. conducted by Lt. Col. Scott Casey, the incoming Senior Marine Instructor, and First Sergeant Johnny Rositas.
The orientation is open to any students that are interested in becoming a JROTC cadet, including those that have not previously registered.
