GHS STUDENT WINS CONSERVATION CONTEST

Conservation Award  
 
Courtney Overstreet, a recent graduate of Granbury High School, won an essay contest and a college scholarship sponsored by the Brazos Valley Soil and Water Conservation District.
 
Overstreet placed first in the contest covering the topic “What Soild and Water Conservation Means to Me.” She will utilize the $500 scholarship as she begins studying agricultural leadership at Texas A&M University this fall.
