Tickets to Pirate Football games will soon be going on sale for the 2012 season.
Season ticket holders for the VIP reserved section may purchase tickets for their seats on August 6-17. All season tickets not purchased will go on sale beginning Monday, August 20. Season packages sell for $36 and include tickets for all six home games. No individual season tickets will be sold until after the first home game. The tickets will then be sold for $6.
Also on sale beginning Monday, August 6 are tickets for the Section E reserved general admission section. These tickets are $36 for adults and $24 for students on a first-come, first-served basis.
Individual general admission tickets for varsity games will be available for purchase each week during the football season. For home games, tickets will be available at all GISD schools. General admission tickets for away games will be sold at Granbury High School, Crossland Ninth Grade Center, Granbury Middle School, Acton Middle School, and the athletic office. Pre-sale tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Tickets for the first home game will be available beginning Monday, August 27.
Gold Cards for individuals who are 55 and over will be available beginning Monday, August 6 for a one-time charge of $10. Cardholders may attend any GISD athletic function in the general admission seating. For varsity football games, they will receive free admission at the gate for general admission seating except for the VIP and Section E reserved sections.
Season tickets and Gold Cards may be purchased in the athletic office, which is located in the GISD Administration Building at 600 W. Pearl Street. For more information, contact the office at (817) 408-4080.
The Pirates kick off their regular season versus the Wichita Falls Lions Coyotes on Friday, August 31. Other home games will feature the Pirates taking on Mansfield Lake Ridge, Fort Worth South Hills, Fort Worth Western Hills, Fort Worth Trimble Tech (homecoming), and Aledo. All home games will be played at Johnny Perkins Field at Pirate Stadium beginning at 7:30 P.M.
