NEW GMS CHOIR DIRECTOR NO STRANGER TO GRANBURY

Erin Walter will be working in familiar surroundings when she begins teaching choir at Granbury Middle School beginning in August 2012.

The former Erin Mathis is a Granbury High School alumnae, having graduated in 2006.

“I am very excited to be giving back to the community who gave me so much,” Walter commented. “The Granbury choir program had a large part in shaping me into who I am today.”

Walter joins an impressive team leading the award-winning choir program. She will be working with Cathy Terrel at GMS. Other directors are Joy Hope and Greg Doss at GHS and Crossland Ninth Grade Center with Christine Bridges and Randall Walters at Acton Middle School. Walters previously taught at GMS but is moving across town to replace Bob Peacock.
