Granbury ISD will be holding free clinics at Acton Middle School and Granbury Middle School on Thursday, August 23, 2012, for any GISD student who needs state-required immunizations for the upcoming school year.

Offered in conjunction with Lakeside Physicians and Lake Granbury Family Practice, the clinics will be held during schedule pickup for seventh and eighth grade students at AMS and GMS that day from 12:00-2:00 P.M. and 4:00-6:00 P.M.

The clinics are open to any GISD student needing the immunizations, and the shots are being offered free of charge.

State law requires that each student meet the minimum vaccine requirements when attending public schools. For additional information, parents may refer to the district website at www.granburyisd.org/immunization or contact the nurse at their child’s school.
