The Granbury ISD Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on December 15, 2008, and approved the rezoning and grade configuration of elementary and intermediate campuses for the 2009-10 school year.

Trustees approved the proposed attendance zones with some changes: students in Lakewood Hills will attend Oak Woods, while students in Rancho Brazos and
Maps and other information regarding the new attendance zones and grade alignment will be available in the near future at www.granburyisd.org/rezoning.
In personnel matters, Superintendent William Harris announced his retirement effective at the end of June 2009.

In other action, board members approved one employee request for catastrophic sick leave. In addition to approving budget amendments and minutes from the last regular meeting and a workshop, purchases and bids were approved for technology items, copy paper, printing and copying services, charter bus services, and a bus mobile DVR monitoring system.
