Pirate Football team practices will begin on Monday, August 4, 2008.

Equipment sizing will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008.  All prospective players need to report to the Pirate Pavilion in order to be measured for equipment.  In addition, players should bring their completed physical examination packets.  Times for the equipment sizing are:

• Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores:  8:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
• Freshmen:  3:00 – 5:00 P.M. 

Varsity and junior varsity teams will hold two-a-day practices, while the freshman squads will meet once a day.  The schedule for the week of August 4 is:

• Varsity and Junior Varsity:  8:00 – 8:30 A.M., meeting; 8:30 – 10:00 A.M., field practice; 7:00 – 7:30 P.M., meeting; 7:30 – 9:00 P.M., field practice.
• Freshmen:  5:00 – 5:30 P.M., meeting; 5:30 – 7:00 P.M., field practice. 

Practice schedules for subsequent weeks will be set at the end of the first week of practice.
