Chrissie Percifull, a sixth grade English/language arts teacher at Granbury Middle School, was among 35 area teachers recently recognized at the Jack Harvey Academy of Exemplary Teachers, which is part of Weatherford College.  The celebration was held on January 29, 2010. 

"These educators are some of the finest in our service area, and we are pleased to present this award to honor their work and recognize their efforts," said Dr. Kevin Eaton, president of Weatherford College. "Because of each of these educators, we can look toward the future with confidence that our students are receiving quality instruction and guidance."

During the 2008-09 school year, Percifull was named Secondary Teacher of the Year for Granbury ISD.
