Granbury Pirate football players will kick off practices at one second after midnight on Monday, August 8, 2011.

The midnight practice, which includes players in grades 10-12, will be part of a busy day for the team.

Later that day, all players in grades 9-12 will meet at 11:00 A.M. in the Pirate Pavilion for a kickoff meeting, including discussion of Pirate Card sales.  The cards provide supporters with discounts to several local businesses.

Freshmen will report at 6:00 P.M. for equipment pick-up.  These players should also bring completed physical examination packets if those forms have not already been submitted.

On August 9-12, all squads will have early morning practices beginning at 6:30 A.M.

Practice schedules for the subsequent week will be set at the end of the first week of practice.
