The band program is growing, as evidenced by the large group at Pirate Stadium that night.  About 250 seventh and eighth graders from both schools took the field.  AMS and GMS also boast a large sixth grade beginning band of nearly 200 together.

The entire band, including students in grades 6-12, numbers almost 600.
