BLACK PEARL DEBATE TOURNEY ON NOVEMBER 19 AT GHS

The third annual Black Pearl speech and debate tournament will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Granbury High School.

The tourney is bringing over 250 students representing 23 schools from across the state to Granbury, according to GHS debate coach Shyller McGuire.

GHS speech and debate students will be hosting the tournament, which is a qualifying event for the Texas Forensic Association state competition.

Contestants will be participating in events such as Lincoln-Douglas debate, Student Congress, poetry and prose interpretation, extemporaneous speaking, and many other speech and debate competitive events.
