MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS PERFORM WITH ALL-REGION BAND

Students from Granbury Middle School and Acton Middle School performed with the All-Region Band during a clinic and concert held December 2-3, 2011, at Weatherford High School.

Students qualifying for the region band were: flute – Ronnie Estrada, Whitney Shearon; clarinet – Kayla Curtis; bass clarinet – Drew Harris; contra bass clarinet – Michelle Bailey; alto saxophone – Jennifer Boldenow, Marshall Helton; saxophone – Will Warner (alternate); baritone – Evan Franklin; tuba – Aaron Morgan; percussion – Reagan Hall, Shelby Wininger (alternate).

The group was among hundreds of junior high and middle school students competing in TMEA Region 7, which is composed of schools in Fort Worth and extending west to Brownwood.
