Freshman members of the Pirate golf team won first place at the Centennial Tournament held on February 20, 2012, at the Southern Oaks Golf Club in Burleson.

The Crossland Ninth Grade Center group had a combined score of 369, placing first in the freshman division ahead of Burleson, Burleson Centennial, Flower Mound Marcus, Joshua, and Weatherford.

Sam Sonderer led the ninth-grade squad with a score of 90.  Others competing were:  Harrison Knight (92), Davis McDuff (93), Austin Toffoli (94), and Anson Wilson (96).
