PIRATE HOOPSTER NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-STATE

Connor Adams Connor Adams, a senior basketball player at Granbury High School, has been honored with selection to the Academic All-State team by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.
 
The TABC academic honors go to graduating seniors who must have a grade-point average of 92 or above for grades 9-11 and the first semester of the senior year, must be a varsity participant in good standing, and must be of good moral character.
 
The GHS senior was a leader for the Pirates on the basketball court and was named the Most Valuable Player and the Offensive Most Valuable Player by the team following the 2012 season.
 
One of the top students in the GHS Class of 2012, Adams currently serves as president of the National Honor Society.
 
In addition to Adams, other players receiving Academic All-District honors were seniors Joe Brewer, Brendon Clough, Randy Martin, and Ryan Pinson.
