Granbury ISD administration secretaries Carola Bradley and Sandy Bruner were honored by Tarleton State University’s College of Education during the spring Reflections ceremony to recognize the completion of the 2012 student teacher program on May 4, 2012.
As secretary to the district’s assistant superintendent, Bruner currently assists the college with placing student teachers at Granbury school campuses. Bradley previously managed this program from 1996 until 2007, when Bruner took charge.
Combined, the two ladies have been involved in over 1,400 placements over the past fifteen years – involving hundreds of university students during the multi-stage student teacher program. Both credit school principals for their continued willingness to have several student teachers on their campuses.
Praising Bradley and Bruner for their assistance were education professor Dr. Melissa Becker and field experiences director Debby Hopkins-Higham.
