Bree Clark, a fourth grader at Acton Elementary School, is the winner of a school bus safety poster contest. She was presented with her prize during the school’s morning assembly on May 18, 2012.
The contest is sponsored by the Texas Association for Pupil Transportation. Contestants had to create an original poster based on the theme, "Stand Back from the Yellow & Black.” The students had to depict safety-related behavior and procedures by representing proper placement of passengers in or around the school bus in relation to one another.
Her poster will be entered in the state-level competition to be judged this summer.
