STARS ACCELERATED HIGH SCHOOL HOLDS FALL GRADUATION
December 16, 2020 - STARS Accelerated High School held fall graduation exercises on December 15, 2020, at Acton Baptist Church. Nineteen students received high school diplomas during the ceremony.

FAILING STUDENTS, EXTRACURRICULAR PARTICIPANTS REQUIRED TO BE IN-PERSON STARTING JANUARY
December 14, 2020 - Failing students as well as students participating in extracurricular activities will be required to attend school in person beginning in January 2021, according to an announcement from Granbury ISD superintendent Dr. Jeremy Glenn on December 14, 2020.

GRANBURY STUDENTS TO HAVE EXTENDED CHRISTMAS BREAK
December 8, 2020 - Students and teachers in Granbury ISD will have an extended Christmas Break on December 21, 2020-January 8, 2021. In addition, students will have two additional days off during Staff Days on Friday, December 18 and Monday, January 11.

November 18, 2020 - The GEF Party Bus traveled all over the community on November 17, 2020, as the Granbury ISD Education Foundation announced the winners of grants and special awards totaling $67,000.

GHS SENIOR HONORED FOR VETERANS DAY ESSAY
November 17, 2020 - Granbury High School senior Madalyn Rickert was named the winner of a Veterans Day essay contest among Hood County secondary school students. Rickert was honored at the Granbury ISD school board meeting on November 16, 2020.
