About Me: The 2018-2019 school year will be my 6th year teaching! Although this is my 6th year teaching it is my 10th year working with GISD. I have spent the majority of my time at GISD teaching Early Childhood. I have my BA in History from Tarleton State University, and am certified to teach ESL Early Childhood-6th. Please do not hesitate to email me about questions or concerns, I am here to help your child grow socially and academically and want to do what is best for you and your child! First Grade is an exciting year and I hope to make it a great one!

My Beliefs

·      I believe that parents are the most influential and important educator for their children and a good parent-teacher relationship is important for the success of the student.

·      I believe that student involvement and having hands-on activities increases knowledge retention and recall.

·      I believe that each child learns differently and I will apply different teaching techniques in order to reach each student.
