  • Welcome, Class of 2023! Granbury High School will host Freshman Orientation on Tues., August 6, 2019, from 4-7pm with administrators, teachers, and student council members leading the new high school students through a campus tour and overview of procedures and other important information. This will be like a mock “first day of school,” and there will be separate sessions for parents. Both students and parents are invited to attend for the entire time period.

  • New to Granbury ISD? New student registration at Granbury High School will be Wed., July 31 and Thurs., August 1 from 8:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. in the CTE Center at the back of the high school. New students should bring a copy of their birth certificate, shot records, Social Security card, proof of residence (such as a utility bill), parent/guardian state-issued identification card (if available), last report card from previous school, and most recent state test scores (if applicable).   • Hood County Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community - including students and parents - to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy. Submit a tip by phone at (817) 573-8477 or Web Tips to encourage citizens in the community to volunteer vital information helpful to law enforcement agencies to fight against crime.  You can also download the P3 app on Android or iPhone to submit a tip.

College Scholarship Opportunities

  • Tarleton State University has college scholarships available for Granbury and Hood County high school graduates: $2,000 Granbury Wine Walk Fine Arts Scholarship (for full-time fine arts major); $1,000 First National Bank of Granbury Endowed Scholarship (need based); Tanton Family Granbury High School Scholarship (ag major - amount varies).
