• Open House PE Dances
    March 6, 2012

Mambrino School students were into physical fitness during Open House on March 6, 2012.

The students in all grades demonstrated some high-energy dances for parents and family members.  The program, held at the conclusion of the Open House festivities, followed several Granbury schools received substantial grant funding through the NFL Fuel Up to Play 60 program.

The school nutrition and physical activity program was launched by the National Dairy Council and the National Football League in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The initiative encourages youth to consume nutrient-rich foods (low-fat and fat-free dairy, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains) and achieve 60 minutes of physical activity every day.

The fitness routines were led by physical education teachers Casey Keith and Lauri Morgan.
