HICKEY NAMED TO ALL-STATE BASEBALL TEAM
June 19, 2014 - Nathan Hickey, a 2014 graduate of Granbury High School who was a stand-out on the Granbury Pirate baseball team, was named to the Class 4A All-State team by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association. The state organization made the announcement on June 18, 2014.

“ICY SUMMER” THEATRE CAMP COMING TO GHS
June 19, 2014 - Granbury youngsters are invited to join the Granbury High School theater arts program for an “Icy Summer.” The theatre camp is planned for August 4-8, 2014, at GHS.

June 16, 2014 - Construction has begun at Granbury ISD elementary and middle schools for controlled entry vestibules to improve campus security. Most projects will be complete for the 2014-15 school year.

April 30, 2014 - Granbury High School junior Dakota Medlin received a Best Actor nomination for the 14th Annual Betty Lynn Buckley Awards for his role as the Scarecrow in the GHS fall theater production of “The Wizard of Oz.” The announcement was made on April 25, 2014.

April 21, 2014 - Fine arts students from Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center will present the musical "The Pajama Game" on May 8-10, 2014. The performances will begin at 7:30 P.M. on May 8-9 and at 2:00 P.M. and 7:30 P.M. on May 10 in the GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center.
