GHS WINS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AT F1 IN SCHOOLS CONTEST
June 12, 2017 - Precision Racing and Atlas Racing, two of the F1 in Schools teams from Granbury High School, placed first and second in the national competition on June 8-10, 2017, at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin. Students will traveling abroad to represent the United States in the world finals for the fourth time in five years.

June 12, 2017 - Top ensembles from Granbury ISD bands are advancing in the Texas Music Educators Association’s state honor band competition after winning top marks from regional judges on June 8, 2017, at Keller Central High School.

June 5, 2017 - Granbury High School held commencement exercises for the Class of 2017 on June 1, 2017, at the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.

June 5, 2017 - Speeches at Granbury High School graduation on June 1, 2017, included the valedictory address by Emma McKelvain, salutatory address by Blake Steinmann, and senior response by class president Payton Holmgreen. GHS principal Jeremy Ross closed the ceremony with congratulatory remarks.

May 31, 2017 - Two prosepective head coaches have been named finalists to lead Granbury High School athletic teams beginning in the 2017-18 school year. Their appointments are subject to approval by the Granbury ISD school board.

May 31, 2017 - Tyler Rodgers, a fifth grader at Acton Elementary School, was pronounced the winner of a Memorial Day essay contest during a community celebration on May 29, 2017.

May 31, 2017 - An Acton Middle School team competed at the Odyssey of the Mind world competition on May 24-27, 2017, at Michigan State University.

May 31, 2017 - STARS Accelerated High School held spring graduation exercises on the evening of May 30, 2017, at Acton Baptist Church. Twenty-two students received high school diplomas during the ceremony.
