• Nationals - Michigan International Speedway | May15-16, 2015

     
     
    Affinity F1, the Formula One in Schools team from Granbury High School, won the title of National Champion at the competition which took place at the Michigan International Speedway. The students were one of two teams representing the United States in the World Finals. The team advanced to the 2015 World Finals held on Sentosa Resort Island in Singapore. This marks the third straight year for GHS to qualify for the international contest. In 2013, the competition was held in Austin, and last year, the team compete in the United Arab Emirates. At nationals, the GHS squad also won fastest car which is one of the most coveted trophies in the competition. Coming in 4th place and also winning the award for Best Team Identity was Granbury High School's rookie team, Summit Racing.

    Regionals - Circuit of the Americas | January 17, 2015

     
     
    The Affinity F1 Racing team were the Grand Champions at the Austin Regionals held January 17th at the Circuit of the Americas. The team additionally won Best Pit Display and Best Portfolio. Summit Racing, the rookie team, finished in 2nd place.  Both Affinity F1 and Summit Racing advanced to the National Competition held at the Michigan International Speedway on May 15-16.
