Both teams competed well at the National level against competitors from across the US. Affinity F1 finished 7th place overall while Racing Aces came in 9th place.

Regionals - Circuit of the Americas | January 16, 2016
The Affinity F1 Racing team were the Grand Champions at the Austin Regional Competition held January 16th at the Circuit of the Americas. The team additionally won awards for Fastest Car, Best Engineered Car, Best Innovative Feature, and Best Research and Development. GHS's other team, Racing Aces, finished in 2nd place and won awards for Best Team Identity and Best Sponsorship and Marketing. Both Affinity F1 and Racing Aces advanced to the National Competition held at the Michigan International Speedway on May 13-14.
