Texas Success Initiative (TSI)

  • The Texas Success Initiative (TSI test) is required for any student planning to enroll in a public two-year college, four-year university, or technical school.  Students seeking admission to an Educator Preparation Program must also take the TSI test.
     
    Students may be exempted from the TSI by:
     
    (1.) SAT: at least a 480 on the reading section and 530 on the math section
    (2.)  ACT: a composite score of 23 with a 19 on both the math and English sections
     
    It is the student's responsibility to complete the registration and pay the fee to the registration center.
