Degrees and Certifications:
Howdy and welcome to physics!
I grew up here in Granbury, Texas and went to school K-12 in G.I.S.D. As a student, I was blessed to have a multitude of wonderful teachers who inspired and cultivated a deep appreciation for education that led me to a career in teaching. In my opinion, there's no better community to grow up in and experience the educational opportunities that Granbury ISD affords. I am proud to now work alongside a strong group of passionate educators to help continue supporting the youth of our community.
My wife, Brianne, is also a teacher at Granbury High School and works at the Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility. We have been married for ten years and have three lovable children. Rayleigh is a 3rd grader at Oak Woods, Harper is going into kindergarten at Oak Woods and Kolt will begin kindergarten in 2018. We love spending time together as much as possible. Camping, barbecuing, fishing, swimming, biking and exploring the outdoors are some of our favorite things to do. We also love taking in high school and collegiate sports (especially baseball)!
Brianne and I are both graduates of Texas A&M University, WHOOP! I received my bachelors degree in genetics and taught biology for 5 years before teaching physics. This will be my 10th year as a teacher with G.I.S.D.
I'm looking forward to this school year and hope that it is filled with rich opportunites for accelerated growth and learning!
