All About Mrs. Walton

  • I am incredibly excited and honored to serve as Principal of Acton Elementary. This is my 14th year in public education and the beginning of my 11th year at Acton Elementary. I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of ways - first as a classroom teacher, then as an Instructional Coach, and most recently as an Assistant Principal. The love I have for our teachers and staff runs deep - I truly have never met a more passionate and hard-working group of people than the crew that call AES home. They take the important job of educating your children seriously, pouring all of themselves into everything they do. And your children... they are the light of our lives and the reason we do what we do. Because their time at AES will set the tone for their entire educational journey, partnering with you to make it a memorable experience and to help your child reach high levels of academic success is our highest priority.

My commitment to the AES mission of reaching hearts, building character, growing learners and embracing families remains steadfast. I am committed to the mission and vision of Acton Elementary and am eager to build upon the solid foundation that has already been laid. I was born and raised in this incredible community and was deeply influenced by the passionate educators in Granbury ISD that were part of my educational journey. Getting to raise our boys and serve as an educator in this incredible town is truly a dream come true!

They will be sent out via email, Remind, and DOJO, and will be posted to all social media accounts.

Our theme for this school year is “Make Your Mark” - we know that there are tremendous things in store for AES and for your child this school year!
