Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can students eat in The Galley?

    Posted by:

No, students cannot eat in The Galley (unless they are culinary students that have helped prepare the food. Even then, they eat in my room after service is over.) Only adults are allowed to eat in The Galley, so feel free to come down and relax while you enjoy your meal.

  • How many people do you serve?

We only serve a limited number of people each week, and we use a Google Form with the menu to create our RSVP list. We send that out to the email list and then post it on Twitter.

  • What is the cost for lunch?

    Posted by:

The cost is $9 per person, which includes tax. This usually includes an entrée, 1-2 sides, dessert, and a drink.  Sometimes, we may offer a more upscale menu; when we do, the price will reflect that.

  • Can I place a "To-Go" order?

    Posted by:

We do To-Go orders for most luncheons. Depending on what we are serving that week, some dishes are easy to do and some are a downright pain the bottom, so we reserve the right to skip the To Go option occasionally. We will make it very clear ahead of time if To Go isn’t an option.

  • Is there flexibility with your menu to accommodate allergies or dietary needs?

    Posted by:

Most of the time, we can alter our menus to accommodate allergies and dietary needs. However, that isn’t always possible. For example, if you have a dairy allergy, it wouldn’t be possible for us to alter our Baked Potato Soup (made with cream and cheese) to meet your needs. You might need to skip that week. We promise that we will offer a variety of menu items throughout the year, so hopefully more often than not, we will be able to accommodate most people.

  • Can we provide feedback?

    Posted by:

We love suggestions and feedback. Just like any restaurant, we learn by receiving feedback from our customers. Please keep in mind that everything is being created by high school students, so constructive criticism and grace are very appreciated!
