The valedictorian and salutatorian will have completed the Foundation Program with Endorsements and have been enrolled in Granbury High School for both their junior and senior years. The senior class will be ranked scholastically at the end of the 5th six weeks. If a tie of two or more students exists for the top places after grades have been averaged, then the tie will be broken according to a procedures outlined in board policy EIC Local. For further information, see policy EIC.
Beginning with students who entered grade 9 in the 2014–15 school year, a new graduation program is in effect. Therefore, class ranking procedures may be adjusted by the district based on the new graduation plan. The district will make the information available to the students affected by these changes.
