Director of Technology Danielle Parsons
Danielle Parsons became the Granbury ISD technology director in September 21, 2020.
Parsons previously was one of the district’s instructional technology coordinators since 2019, helping to implement technology software and providing professional development for teachers and staff. She previously was an instructional specialist and STEAM Coordinator at the STEAM Academy at Mambrino for three school years. Prior to that, Parsons taught seventh grade English/language arts at Acton Middle School.
The director began her educational career in 2005 as an ELA teacher and coach at Tison Middle School in Weatherford, where she also served as department head and athletics coordinator before coming to Granbury in 2014. Parsons earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary students from Stephen F. Austin State University and a master’s degree in educational administration from Tarleton State University.
As technology director, Parsons supervises all department functions, which include technology device and software support, instructional technology, network services and administration, and the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS).
