Texas Success Initiative (TSIA2)
The Texas Success Initiative (TSIA2 test) is required for any student planning to enroll in a public two-year college, four-year university, or technical school in Texas. Students seeking admission to an Educator Preparation Program must also take the TSI test.
Students may be exempted from the TSIA2 by:
(1.) SAT: at least a 480 on the reading section and 530 on the math section
(2.) ACT: a composite score of 23 with a 19 on both the math and English sections
It is the student's responsibility to complete the registration and pay the fee to the registration center.
Register to take the TSIA2 test at the Weatherford College Testing Center – Weatherford Campus
Step 1: Register for the TSIA2
- Register at http://registerblast.com/weatherford.
- Pick a date and time.
- Pay for the test online with a credit card. The total will be $25.
Step 2: Complete the TSIA2 pre-assessment – Go to: https://practice.accuplacer.org/login
The pre-assessment can take up to 45 minutes and should be taken a couple of days BEFORE the TSIA2 test. Print the completion certificate and bring it with you the day of the test.
Items to bring on the day of the test:
- Valid photo ID
- Your pre-assessment completion certificate
You will not be allowed to test if you do not bring the pre-assessment completion certificate with you.
