June 22, 2012 - Both Granbury Middle School and Mambrino School will be under leadership beginning in the new school year, after new principals recommended by incoming superintendent Dr. James Largent were ratified by the Granbury ISD Board of Trustees during its regular monthly meeting on June 18, 2012.

June 1, 2012 - STARS Accelerated High School held spring graduation exercises on May 31, 2012, at Acton Baptist Church. Twenty-seven students received high school diplomas during the ceremony – marking the ninth hundredth student to graduate from the school since its founding in 1994.

STATE EXAM RETESTS SCHEDULED FOR JULY 9-12
June 1, 2012 - Students needing to take exit-level state exams will have an opportunity to take retests, which will be administered at Granbury High School and STARS Accelerated High School on July 9-12.
