MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS COMPLETE AP SPANISH ACADEMY
June 22, 2011 - A group of students from Acton Middle School and Granbury Middle School recently completed a week-long academy for an Advanced Placement Spanish class that they will take next school year. The academy was held June 13-17, 2011.

June 21, 2011 - The Granbury ISD Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on June 20, 2011, and approved a name change of STARS Academy to STARS Accelerated High School.

June 2, 2011 - Granbury Middle School will likely receive a Recognized accountability rating from the Texas Education Agency, after the school district received a supplemental report indicating that several eighth graders passed the state TAKS tests during a second administration in May 2011.

December 8, 2010 - Coach Leta Andrews and the Grabury Lady Pirates made history on December 7, 2010, with Andrews earning her 1,334th win and surpassing former Fort Worth Dunbar coach Robert Hughes as the all-time winningest high school basketball coach.

During the competition, top students from eight schools took part in contests in several subject areas.
