Q. What else do I need to know about library books?
A: Students are responsible for the care of the books. If a book is lost or damaged, it is the student's responsibility to pay for the book. Also, reading is a joy, a privilege, and the right of every student. As you select the library books you will read, please understand that every book is not the best choice for every student. If a book is unappealing or offensive to you in any way, please return it and select another. You, the student, know better than we, the library and school staff, what reading materials best serve you and your family's standards and beliefs.
