Mambrino students had the opportunity to hear about some interesting professions during a “Journeys to Jobs” career day held on February 10, 2012.
Organized by counselor Denise Thatcher, the presentations featured speakers from several professions in the established career cluster and other job areas:
Agriculture and Animal Science – David Shannon, Forestry Service; Sarah Pennebaker, Fort Worth Zoo; Jody McDonald and Tiffany Collins, Animal Care Center; Katie Hunholz, Jennifer Cheesman, and James Morgan, Fossil Rim
Arts & Audio-Visual Graphics – Mary Pyron, Hood County News Business and Finance – Greg Thatcher, Luminant; Bobby White, professional golfer Education – Wanda Crossland, retired teacher
Information and Technology – Amy Wood, Granbury ISD technology director
Health Science – Steve McCaslin, Pecan EMS
