At last night’s monthly board meeting, the following were recognized with Achievement Spotlights along with notable events:
- STEAM Academy at Mambrino performed the Pledges at the meeting, led by STEAM Ambassadors: Dipson Thapaliya, Allyson Camacho, Ellie Uribe, Rhett Martin, Finn O'Carroll, Skye Sherwood, Ximena Espinosa, McKinsey Mendel, Randi McPhate - Media Specialist (Ambassador Sponsor), and Melissa Shipp – Principal.
- Shottenkirk Senior of the Month: Hunter McMullen. Shottenkirk Automotive Group awarded Hunter with a $500 scholarship. Hunter plans to attend Texas A&M – Corpus Christi to study biomedical science.
- Rachel Ledbetter, a longtime Granbury ISD supporter, was recognized for her 99th birthday with a special plaque made by the Granbury High School CTE Engineering students and the GHS Choir provided a video singing her happy birthday.
