Granbury ISD’s EECU Customer Care Awards were presented at Brawner Elementary School during monthly campus visits with the board of trustees and district administrators on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Bianca Guerrero and Charley Henderson were presented with the EECU Customer Care Awards, a recognition award given to deserving employees. At the presentation, Brawner Principal Sandy Ruiz praised Bianca and Charley for their dedication to the district, campus, and to the students.
Ruiz said the following about Bianca Guerrero
“Dear Bianca, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible impact you’ve made on our school and your students. You always see a need and get the job done with a level of dedication that inspires everyone around you. Last year, you worked with 34 students in a self-contained classroom, and despite the challenges, you never once complained. Instead, you set high expectations and pushed each of your students to reach their best.
You are truly an asset to both your team and our entire school. Your “whatever it takes” mindset, your strong teamwork, and your ability to connect deeply with both students and parents make you stand out. It’s clear that your students adore you, and the rapport you build with families strengthens our school community every day.
Thank you for being such a shining example of commitment, care, and excellence. “Marissa Beisel radiates compassion, patience, and positivity in everything she does,” added Walton. “She supports our students with grace, even on the most challenging days, and brings calm and kindness to every interaction. Her compassionate heart shines through in all she does. The students she serves and the staff she supports are truly blessed by her presence. Marisa loves deeply and consistently serves as a light and a voice for our students who face the most challenges.”
Ruiz said the following about Charley Henderson:
“Dear Charley,
Your dedication and heart for our students never go unnoticed. You are always the first to volunteer, making sure our students never go without. From Purple Star and yearbook to Student Council, UIL coordination, and even teaching academics during library time. You give so much of yourself in so many ways.
What stands out most is that you do it all with the biggest heart, a constant smile, and genuine care for every student. You go above and beyond daily, not because you have to, but because you truly want the best for our kids. That spirit makes you such a gift to our school.
Thank you for the countless ways you support our students and staff. Your joy, energy, and willingness to step in wherever needed make a lasting difference, and we are truly grateful for you.”
The district thanks EECU for their partnership and for the gifts presented to Customer Care winners.
