EECU Customer Care Awards presented to STEAM Academy at Mambrino

Granbury ISD’s EECU Customer Care Awards were presented to the STEAM Academy at Mambrino during monthly campus visits with the board of trustees and district administrators on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Hannah Everitt and Bobby Stivers were presented with the EECU Customer Care Awards, a recognition award given to deserving employees. At the presentation, Mambrino Principal Melissa Shipp praised Hannah and Bobby for their dedication to the district, campus, and to the students.

Mrs. Shipp said the following about Hannah Everitt:

Hannah Everitt exemplifies what it means to have a great attitude and willingness to do all things for kids!!  This year after in-service started, we needed a teacher and Hannah was moved to us, after she had just unpacked and set up her classroom at Oak Woods.  She comes every day with the best attitude, wants to grow and often asks what she can do better - she is AMAZING!  She offered to take a hard student from a teacher early on, even having her own hard kiddos and has worked diligently with her class and seen great success.  What a blessing we would have missed out on if she had not been moved to our campus!  Hannah is making an impact at Mambrino that will last for many years to come!

Mrs. Shipp said the following about Officer Bobby Stivers:

Officer Bobby Stivers - where do I begin!  First and foremost, he takes his job very seriously and is always watching for ways we can be a safer campus.  He catches things that others do not always notice, paying super close attention to detail - exactly what we need in an officer!  In addition, and probably the thing that stands out to me the most is his innovative ideas for involving our dads - he started our DADvocates program and has started a "Gentlemen in Training" club where dads come and volunteer their time to mentor our 5th grade boys.  He is a part of it also and works so hard to mentor the students in and out of the club.  He even started bringing golf clubs and taught the students at recess how to play - coming up with something else for them to try to keep them engaged and out of trouble.  His DADvocates have done countless workdays making our campus beautiful! In my book Bobby gets 5 stars all day long!!”

The district thanks EECU for their partnership and for the gifts presented to Customer Care winners.
