Houcine Chraibi, RTSBA, Assistant Director of Finance for Granbury ISD, has been elected president of North Texas Purchasing & Supply Management (NTPSM), a regional affiliate of the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO). NTPSM supports school purchasing and procurement professionals across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, serving the 216 public school districts in TEA Regions 10 and 11.
As president, Chraibi will help lead training, professional development, and collaboration for the procurement professionals who make sure districts spend public dollars wisely and in compliance with Texas law. His election reflects Granbury ISD’s commitment to developing its leaders and to excellence in school business operations.
Chraibi holds the Registered Texas School Business Administrator (RTSBA) certification, a TASBO credential recognizing advanced knowledge and professional standards in Texas school business administration. At Granbury ISD, he oversees procurement, contract management, and financial compliance.
“Houcine’s election as president of NTPSM is a well-deserved recognition of his leadership, expertise, and dedication to excellence in school finance,” said Granbury ISD Chief Financial Officer LaTisha Griffin. “He plays an important role in ensuring our district operates with transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility. We are proud to support his professional growth and know his leadership will make a positive impact on school districts across North Texas.”
“I’m grateful to Granbury ISD for supporting my growth as a leader,” said Chraibi. “This role lets me learn from and give back to colleagues across North Texas, and bring those ideas home to serve our students and taxpayers.”
Chraibi’s leadership extends into the Granbury community as well. Within the same two weeks, he was elected president of the Granbury Optimist Club, which supports local youth through the Young Texan and Texanne awards, scholarships, and essay and oratorical contests. He also leads the Granbury High School Junior Optimist Club, giving GHS students hands-on experience in leadership and community service.
