Granbury ISD believes positive partnerships with families and the community are important for student success. The Community Relations Department and the Communications Department work closely together to assist community partners interested in sharing news and announcements with Granbury ISD staff*, students, or families.
APPROVAL
Community partners must first submit a digital version of the proposed flyer to the Director of Communications via email to [email protected].
DISTRIBUTION
- Printed Flyers - If seeking approval to distribute printed flyers at a campus, campus enrollment numbers will be shared with the requestor after District-level approval. Printed flyers must be printed and sorted by the requestor and dropped off at the administration building located at 217 N. Jones St. The Communications Department will distribute the approved, printed flyers through inner office mail and notify campus principals of District-level approval. Neither a timeline nor the actual distribution of the printed material is promised as the decision is ultimately at the discretion of each campus principal.
- Digital Flyers - If seeking approval to distribute digital flyers, the next publication date of the monthly family newsletter will be shared with the requestor after District-level approval. The District does not directly distribute standalone, digital flyers through District-level communication methods such as email, text, or social media. At his or her discretion, campus principals may also share the digital flyer in Campus-level communication methods such as campus newsletters.
*News and announcements specific to District staff may be submitted for approval to be included in weekly staff newsletters or listed among Employee Perks.
